OH SO VINTAGE

Found this rad top in my mother's closet last week! Have been wanting to wear it out ever since. And when Su-Estilo sent me this skort (skirt + shorts) last week as well, I took the opportunity to wear them both together!

I really fancy this blush skort! Its super comfy and the material is thick but soft. Basically, just about perfect. I wore this to college and had the help of my good friend, Chris, to help me take photos of the outfit; life of a fashion blogger.

DINING ALONE

It's monday again and almost the end of the month. It's very worrying how time passes by so incredibly fast. My semester is coming to an end, yet I haven't done my best in my assignments. I feel all lazy and sluggish this year. Pfft, gotta shake those bad energy off!

My morning was quiet, as the family left for work early. I was craving eggs so decided to have them for breakfast. I sat at the kitchen counter by myself and enjoyed the moment of the warm sunlight dancing over me while slowly indulging every bite of my breakfast. I thought, "what a beautiful morning indeed".

NEW THINGS

Hello all! I had a little hiatus from blogging(three days seems like a long time to me); not that I wanted to, but because I've been out and about and haven't had the time to just sit down in front of my computer. This week has been pretty fun, so far. Have been spending heaps of time with my friends and my guitar.

Got these babies (above) this week as well. They're both graphic design books; the left is a branding book that came with a complimentary notebook and the other is a namecard book. They're both filled with pretty design and inspiration! Happiest buy of the month.

APPLE CUPCAKES

My cousin's and I always bake/cook random recipes we find from the net. This time, we decided on baking Apple Cupcakes. We got the recipe here.

(added a piece of chocolate into each cupcake. Just cause we can!)

All in all it was a really yummy cupcake! It turned out light and fluffy with a hint of apple and cinnamon. Tasted great even if we didn't make the caramel buttercream frosting.

Found this photo on the net and fell in love immediately. Right now i'm so into everything mint colored. Such a pretty colour! And I really like how the model looks so lovely with those simple elements.

Le Macaron

One day I got bored and decided to take photos of these babies I bought at a nearby bakery. They looked pretty but just tasted of sugar (is that how macaroons are supposed to taste of?) Anyway, I placed them near the window for good lighting, and added a doily paper and some cloth. You know. To make the photo look good?

So these are the few pictures that I liked. After post processing them, it just looked like it needed some typography elements. And then, that's how I came up with a "make-believe" french brand, Le Macaron! teehee.

I've always wanted to design a logo/brand for a cafe or a restaurant. If you are an owner of a cafe/restaurant and is in need of a new brand look/ logo, hire me please!

Instagram Newbie

My cousin passed down his iPhone3 to me not too long ago! I've always wanted an iPhone. But could never bring myself to buy it. Well maybe only because I just wanted it for the wrong but so right reasons. And that reason is to download the popular iPhone app, Instagram.

So far, after 2-ish weeks of getting the hang of Instagram, i'm kinda in love with the app. I just love scrolling through random humans daily photos of food, fashion, their feet, food (yes i said food twice). My instagram photos are basically just random things I find around wherever I am. Or my camwhore moments ; everyone does that, no? (:
