Someone's Watching Over Me

Today I had an encounter with a good samaritan, sent by the Lord, I'd like to believe. In short, a friendly stranger volunteered to help a nobody like me (after overhearing me ask everyone in a store for help), jump start her car as she foolishly forgotten to turn off her headlights before going for class. Thank you, angel sent from God!

Soothing the Soul

I woke up this morning feeling under the weather due to the preposterous weather recently. It's so humid I've been getting hot flushes all the time. So I fell victim and caught the flu. Nose has been runny and dripping fluid non stop. Okay, try not to picture that.

Anyway I made a restorative drink that worked! It's pretty simple and easy to make too. All you need is a spoonful of grated ginger, honey, lemon, sugar and water! Just boil the water with the ginger and sugar (until sugar dissolves), then sieve the contents into a mug and then add the lemon and honey! Easy as that. And it really works! I feel better already. Hope you all are healthy. x

Remember that little teaser I posted recently? Click here if you don't. So, this is the second item Su-Estilo sent me. To me, its perfection! Despite the fact that the inner-lining is slightly short and just a wee bit transparent. But we girl's know how to deal with small issues like that, don't we? (: My favorite part of the dress is the intricate lace detailing! All in all, its a reaalllly pretty dress that dances and floats in the wind when you spin and twirl!

Oh, and if you're wondering why 'cupcake' for the title of this post, (haha) well only because my friend Nadine said I looked like one while she was taking photos for me. I'm actually still trying to figure out why..

Sushi Talk

Two things I love here. People and food! There's just something about food that makes a friendship/relationship grow, don't cha think? I guess it really does bring people together. Enjoying good food with the people closest to me really makes my day. It's the simple things in life that counts. I really cherish those moments and I'm glad I snapped photos of them! Okay.. and the girl's too. :p

Yay! First outfit post of the year! Wowowow, time flies insanely fast don't you think! When Su-estilo first approached me and asked to be my sponsor, it was way back in July last year. I'm really grateful for the blessings that God has blessed me with. Never in a million years would I expect to have a brand sponsor pretty clothes to me. With the clothes they send to me, I always try my best to mix and match with other items I have in my closet. I hope I did justice to this Toga Dress! Although it's not really much my style, its still really fun to dress up and try wearing something different! (:

And She's Off

Serena (third from the left) just left to UK, again. She's one of my closest friends and I'm really glad to know someone like her! I think its really important to have friends. And I mean real friends. She's definitely of one them (: The girls and I spent our last day with her before she left at some yoghurt ice cream store. The place served free toppings! Yes, free! So we kinda went crazy when we found out. And there were more toppings than ice cream in our cup. Sweet.. See you soon, Serena!

Lavendar

Oh jolly! I've been meaning to blog about this a week ago when it happened but got caught up in lots of work. Last week my mom and I had tea at Lavendar at One Utama shopping mall. I was quite excited and stuff because the interior and ambience of the place was rather pretty! And this is the closest thing to a 'high tea' experience for me. We ordered the tea set which costs around rm30 if im not mistaken? Mm the food , wasn't that spectacular honestly. But the tea was! (: Well at least we both liked it.

For the Love of Bread

This was yesterday's breakfast! I am currently loving my mom's new pick on our daily loaf. We usually have regular whole grain bread, but now, this herb and whole grain bread is our current choice! so much of flavour. love!

Pizza Making on NYE

Hi! First up, apologies for the blogging hiatus! My hands have been pretty tied up with work. I just started my new college semester like, a week ago. And so far the work load is still adequate. But besides college, I've been freelancing and making tote bags (Tote Loving)

I spent new years eve with those two girls above; Juliana and Serena. We just bonded over a pizza-making session and then headed down to the city to watch the fireworks/countdown. It was all bittersweet when the clock struck 12. But nonetheless I'm glad to start a new chapter of life. So excited to see what's in store for 2012.
