Soothing the Soul


I woke up this morning feeling under the weather due to the preposterous weather recently. It's so humid I've been getting hot flushes all the time. So I fell victim and caught the flu. Nose has been runny and dripping fluid non stop. Okay, try not to picture that.

Anyway I made a restorative drink that worked! It's pretty simple and easy to make too. All you need is a spoonful of grated ginger, honey, lemon, sugar and water! Just boil the water with the ginger and sugar (until sugar dissolves), then sieve the contents into a mug and then add the lemon and honey! Easy as that. And it really works! I feel better already. Hope you all are healthy. x
