Before I write about the skirt, I just want to say thank you for the lovely words in the giveaway post (which is still on) below. Oh boy.. I am so touched by all the compliments, and I'm pretty shocked by the number of people who entered the giveaway. It's also really nice to know that some of you enjoy reading my blog. Honestly, I wish I could meet all of you and give you a big hug. 

Okay, spotlight on this skirt time. So if you didn't know already, Covetz is a new sponsor here on my blog. They sent me this dark green skirt that can be found in their online shop, available in other colours too! As for this outfit, I have no idea why I paired the skirt with this Rolling Stones t-shirt. Haha my brother thought it was an odd outfit; and I did too. But I really like it! I don't know.. There's something so casual/lazy yet prim/lady about it. And I also fancy the colour palette. Overall, I am in utter love (love I tell you) with this skirt. The material is rich and thick, and it's just the perfect shade of dark forest green. Yum.

PRINT & BANGLE GIVEAWAY

Remember this illustration I drew, and I said I would use it as a giveaway gift on my blog? Well I'm glad I finally found the time to print it! I've always been keen on giveaways, but I never knew what to actually 'giveaway'. Then one day I thought, that giving away my artwork would be more personal and meaningful. Like, giving a stranger or a friend a small portion of my hard work and love. And also it's always nice to make someone feel special. To put a smile on someone's face is just priceless, don't you think? 

I believe that God gave us all our individual talents for a reason. And for me, I think my talent is to create art. So with these hands I'm blessed with, I want to make something out of nothing and use it to bless others. I don't want this blog to be just all about my fashion adventures. But I want to post things that are beyond that. Don't get me wrong! I love dressing up. But life's not all about looking good and keeping in trend. 

Okay back to the fun stuff, yes?! :p

Since it was all about this skirt from Su-Estilo for this outfit, I wanted to go as 'bare' as possible without overshadowing the skirt. Yeah I even went to the extend of going barefooted! And plus, no girl would like walking in mud in her favourite heels! Since a lot was going on at the bottom (floral prints and colours), I opted for the most basic of all basic tops; a white tube top. 

All in all,I really had fun photoshooting with Chris and Isaac! Both are such awesome friends. HUGE thank you to the both of them for always being able to help take my outfit photos. I honestly don't know how this blog would continue growing if it wasn't for my talented friends & family. You all know who you are! <3

You know you're real busy when you squeeze two photo shoots in a day. That's exactly what happened to me. I thought, since Chris and I would be going to this lovely place to shoot, why not take two outfits? I'll blog about the second outfit soon. Ok, I love this dress from Su-Estilo. I really do. There's just a slight issue for me. It might be because I'm tall? I don't know. But the inner lining is way too short for me. I had to keep pulling it down throughout the shoot. (Looked like I was pulling a wedgie!) Haha. But other than that, its a lovely dress! I'm crazy over the colours + patterns on it. I didn't know purple and yellow and maroon go so well together. And the cutest part; yes, the back of the dress. *squeal!*

It has definitely been an amazing semester break so far. So many surprises and opportunities came to me out of the blue; and very thankful for each and every one of them.
