THE LITTLE WHITE DRESS

photos by me

Firstly, thank you to those who has been supporting me in my walk with God. You may not know it but your short words or comments really do lift my spirits. You know who you are! We sometimes don't realize it and tend to forget, but we are all blessed with people who will always be there for us. I don't know what I'll do without friends and family. What wonderful creatures they are!! :)

Also, I am excited to share more exciting news here. There's a new sponsor for my blog! And they're all the way from Singapore! The Handlebar will probably be my last sponsor for the meantime. I have been thinking about life lately.. I think I need to slow down on blogging and put more time into my relationships with family and also concentrate on college. And yes, Jesus is always number one. Like I've said again and again, I love my sponsors! But it's time to slow down on fashion. I haven't been in touch with my own little business, Tote Loving for too long!! I have lots of plans for my abandoned business. Im sorry to those who have been emailing me asking for new designs. I will be working on that! :)

Back to The Handlebar! Thank you for this lovely dress! I am completely in love with it. It's really perfect.. I just need someone to invite me to a wedding so I can wear it out. Anyone? :p Do check out their online shop. They've got really exotic pieces that you can only get in Singapore. They ship internationally too!

BLACK BEAUTY

photos by me

Something I've been meaning to share here since too long ago. Well, to keep it short, I have a new sponsor called Autumn Ripple. The lovely Kate who runs the online boutique sells lovely Korean-esque clothes and accessories! (yes I used 'lovely' twice in a sentence) They're all mostly my style so I was really excited to collab with Autumn Ripple. One of the items I was given to is this black bejeweled collar necklace. It is such a darling! I couldn't wait to take photos of it but I had to put it aside for awhile until I checked off some assignments. So thankful I finally found some time! June has been an exhausting month. Anyway, I randomly used these things as props (my flower crowns and daisy perfume which I rarely use) to make the photo look more interesting. Also to give some depth and texture to the photos. Can you tell I love setting up and playing with props!? I can't wait to feature this beauty in an outfit post. Fingers crossed and praying hard God will give me the strength to get through a whole new week of new assignments!

MIRUMIRU!

photos by me

It's wednesday again! Always looking forward to this day. Like I said in my previous post, wednesdays are like my saturdays. It's when I finally can stop and take a breather. Clean my room too, cause the mess piles up as the week goes by. And not to forget; sleep! Yes, sleep is so crucial to us students (art students especially!). I haven't been sleeping enough lately. It's weird how I'm always waking up at 7-8 am without an alarm when I clearly need more sleep! "Body, why are you so weird!". Also, its the time when I can slow down and reflect on myself and my spiritual walk with God. It's very hard to do that when I'm constantly on the move. Cause my mind gets cluttered by other things and work stuff. We all need to be alone and just stare in space and let your thoughts wander, sometimes. Or is it just me?

On a much exciting note, I have gotten another sponsor! Yes, I still think it's crazy and just out of this world that I have sponsors. But indeed i am truly thankful and so grateful! So my new sponsor's name is called MiruMiru! Hehe what a cute and funny name, I thought. Catchy too! MiruMiru sells clothes to accessories. If you're looking for feminine and sweet clothes/accessories, do check their online shop out. They sent me these items; a pearl bow ring, a bow clip, and a black velvet collar! (thank you!) I love and can't wait to wear them! I also had fun sprinkling glitter all over the table when I was taking these photos. Thought it would give a whimsical touch :)

CUTE GRANNY VINTAGE

photos by me

Something that I have been meaning to share here! But as usual, have been too busy juggling everything else that life has to offer. I am thankful I finally found some spare time! Lets cut to the chase shall we? :) Quite recently Destiny, owner of Cute Granny Vintage approached me and asked if I would like to collab! It was a definite yes from my side. I am an all time vintage lover ( even though if it doesn't show as much ), but I really love old timeless things! So, I was insanely happy when I got her email. I got this sweet rattan bag as my first item. I am so in love with it! Really.. It's quite the perfect rattan bag ever. Donned with lace all over! Just to sweeten it up even more! Sigh, I can't wait to use it. Thank you so much Cute Granny Vintage!

Putting clothes and sponsorships aside, Destiny is one of a kind. She's one the most nicest little lady I have came in contact with. She's really so genuine and lovely. When we chat via email, her personality really shows and I can connect with her. She's super understanding; especially when she knows I'm busy with work, she'll send me encouraging emails that always make my day. I'm so glad God brought her in my life. Yes, collaborating with CGV is great, really. But to know someone like that and to be friends with her, means so much more to me.

Mr.Lens Sponsorship

I'm really thankful for having MrLens sponsoring me these brown contacts (thank you!) I was given the opportunity to pick out a pair of contacts from their collection- thanks to PhatCulture for selecting me. I really like it cause it looks natural and doesn't have harsh black outlines. And it's comfortable to wear for long hours too (:

here's a close up of me wearing it
