It's rather fascinating how a single person can shift your balance in life. Of course, this person would then mean a great deal of significance to you. (just a thought)

I've been away from the computer a lot lately. Its refreshing to be outside and get closer actual people. A part of me wants to blog less and put my time and energy in wholesome things. I want to discover life outside of this blogosphere. But then, I will eventually come back to blogging to let out my thoughts and ramblings. I can say I've made lots of exciting memories since semester break started. Some I might share here, and some will be kept with me. Because I'm selfish like that. :)

Anyway, about this outfit. I don't know where to begin. haha! The pink hair really makes me me look like I'm in need of attention. Plus, piling more vibrant colours to this mix doesn't help either. But weird enough I kinda like the whole clown-ish vibes it gives me. Something I'd wear out if I grew some.. guts. Just really self conscious and care too much about what people think, that's all. Should get out of that. Anyway, a big thank you to CGV for this rad blouse. Do check out their shop if you're a vintage junkie like me!

I was really saddened by how my pink hair now clashes with most of my outfits. Like this one for example. Hot pink does not go with red, in my opinion. haha! Well thank goodness for photoshop! I desaturated the colours by fifty percent until it was pleasant looking to the eyes; well, my eyes at least. I really do wish it fades out soon and turns bubblegummy pink.

Really loving this apple print shorts from Garage. It's unfortunate that I have to return it. But oh well! I'm glad I even got to wear it. Paired it with black and whites again. Didn't want anything else to 'over shine' the shorts, besides my hair colour. :)

A happy heart is like good medicine, but a broken spirit drains your strength.

I am back and I have pink hair. Yikes. I'm not really in the writing mood now. So these pictures will speak for themselves.  Story short; I had a blast with these two girls getting our hair done. We spent so much time and money on our locks. It's crazy! I was actually going for a pastel purple shade but it's our first time dip dying so we're pretty clueless about how much dye to add etc... And it turned out hot pink! Honestly, not my kinda colour. But it's different and what's done is done so I'll just enjoy it for now until it fades. :)

I got this gorgeous sparrow print top from Covetz too long ago! Way before my finals. But I didn't have any time to blog about it. Finally now with my semester break in gear, I can do the things I have been postponing to do! One of them is dying my hair; dip dye to be more precise! I was thinking lilac. We'll see! I'm going to check out the price after publishing this post. Keeping this post short and sweet. Hope you all are well and happy :) God bless!

Just a few random photos I love. Oh, meet Bambi, newest member of the family. She makes my heart sing.

It is finished. I am done with the semester. It feels extremely good. Now what do I do?

I don't know why I'm writing this post. My mind is very blurry and it is tired. But I just want to write. Type out whatever. Let's see where it takes me. I've been having a hard decision to make. I'm thinking about deferring my next semester. Meaning, taking less subjects; prolonging my time to complete my Diploma course. I want this because I'll have more time and more effort to put into my assignments, and of course, other daily things. Things I didn't have the time to do when I was in the previous semester. What's holding me back is my friends. It will mean I won't be graduating with them. And won't be in the same class anymore. It's hard. Really hard to choose.

Also, I have been having one on one talks with my closest friends. I love sitting down in cafes/anywhere quiet, and just spill my heart out to my friends. And vice versa. It beats talking on the phone anytime. There's something beautiful about it. When we talk about deep meaningful things. When we encourage and inspire one another. Look the person sitting opposite you in the eyes.. Grasping every word they say. And taking it to heart. The feeling it gives you when you connect with that person. Indescribable. Everyone should experience it.

Why do I feel distant to You? I told myself I'm not going back to my old ways. Slap me in the face please Lord? Not literally though.

It feels so awkward blogging out of my comfort zone (my room). The internet at home is down so I drove to McDonalds just for the wi-fi. I'm currently sitting alone at the corner next to the glass window where the sun is because it's too chilly here. I have a good view of everyone else, occasionally peeping at people to see what they're up to. It's really distracting. I honestly don't like this atmosphere. Especially when I'm trying to blog. And the amount of noise! Even my earphone's aren't good enough to drown the chatter. I want to be alone. I don't like to be be around strangers. Well, not like this.

Yesterday I went out with a good friend. We met for tea. And had a very deep conversation. About life and matter. I might just blog about that. But not now. Now, I'll talk a little about my latest sponsor. I know I said in a post before that I'm not going to accept anymore collaborations with online boutiques until I'm done with my semester, but this case is different. Well, I'm saying yes to this new sponsor because we agreed on a different arrangement; instead of me keeping the clothes, I will have to give them back after blogging about it. And in return I'll be paid a sum. I am a very broke art student depending on my dad for weekly allowances which I really dislike. I really don't like taking money from parents, so I'm trying really hard to earn my own. And I definitely don't need anymore clothes, even though I lust for this insanely comfortable sweater!!

So, getting back to my newest sponsor. Garage is its name. Yup, like 'garage sale'. :) I got to pick a few items from their online store. And I can't wait to show you the cutest shorts I've ever seen! Anyway, here's the first item, this ultra comfy pullover. I. love. it. I'm dead serious. It's so comfy it's like my second skin. (ew) But, what I love about it is that it comes with the prettiest pearled collar! Gives an illusion that I'm wearing a shirt underneath, huh? I went for a preppy look with this shirt. The Club Mod bag really helped make me look like a high school kid again too. x

And we desire each one of you to show the same earnestness to have the full assurance of hope until the end.

Second post today. I guess I feel better already. Thanks girls, for the kind words you left on that post. Anyway, I have missed dressing up to take outfit photos so much. I'm really glad mom helped me take these even though it was really hot. Thanks mom! I wore this to a lunch date with her at Bonjour Cafe. Remember I blogged about it? Well something exciting happened after blogging about it. I got a thank you email from them and they also sent me a voucher for another dining experience. Hmm, would you say its karma? Either way I'm so thankful. I wore this candy cane top from Cute Granny Vintage with my new favourite bag from Club Mod. I love them both! I use the bag almost everyday to college now. Big enough to fit my dslr and other junk. :) And I love that it's a backpack! So comfy and doesn't strain the shoulders like how my other sling bag does.

Also, I'm discovering new things about a person I never knew before. And it's rather nice to know that there's someone who thinks like you; share the same views on life. I think everyone should have someone like that in their life. Someone who can walk this life with you and inspire you at the same time. I hope I never lose you as a friend. I think you know who you are.

People think being alone makes you lonely, but I don't think that's true. Being surrounded by the wrong people is the loneliest thing in the world. - Kim Culbertson
